Trading Rules

Louise

1. Only use Type II tapes, preferably TDK-SA or Maxell-XL in either 90 minute or 100 minute format. I expect you to do the same.

2. NEVER High-Speed Dub or use Dolby NR (Noise Reduction).

3. Send tapes in padded envelopes so they won't be damaged during mail transit. Even though we have articulately negotiated in e-mail, you still MUST include your name, address, e-mail, and your wants. I'm a very organized person and I do not like it when I commit mistakes I could have easily avoided.

4. I send cases, J-cards, and labels. I will make an exception to this rule IF both of us use the same brand of tape; that way, we save on postage. Also, if we're trading tapes, send the necessary information about the concert or show (i.e., date, venue, songlist, length, etc.).

5. For all you beginners, I will gladly accommodate 2:1 trades. This means you send me 2 tapes; 1 tape I use to record your stuff and the other tape I keep. The tape I have to keep must be new and an unopened Type II tape (TDK-SA or Maxell-XL). Your tape can be any type. You must include return postage. If you don't like 2:1, I will sell them for a reasonable price.

6. Keep in touch during the trading process. E-mail before sending tapes and when they are received.

7. Due to a recent bad trade encounter, I am now requiring NEW TRADERS to send tapes first. I will promptly mail your tapes once I receive them.

8. Last, but not least, NEVER RIP ME OFF. This act is childish, immoral, unethical, and a sub-standard characteristic of human existence.
